脑智赋能,“育”见未来

 

从奇幻的大脑游园会到前沿的专家讲座,上海金山杭州湾双语学校正搭建一座连通尖端科研与大众认知的桥梁,为全校师生揭开 “人工智能”和“脑科学”之关联的神秘面纱。

 

2025年10月17日,我校迎来“脑科学”系列活动的新高潮。学校特邀上海外国语大学脑智队列项目著名学者饶恒毅教授亲临校园,与杭校学子面对面交流,并为教师们带来了一场题为《AI时代的脑科学与教育》的专题讲座。这场活动不仅点燃了学生们对科研的向往,也为教师们提供了未来教育的新视角。

在与学生们的面对面交流中,饶恒毅教授针对脑科学专业选择、学术前景与伦理边界等热点话题展开了深入讨论。

学科本质与前景:饶教授指出,脑科学是一门高度跨学科的领域,涵盖神经科学、心理学、计算机科学乃至材料学。他鼓励杭校对生命科学有热情、具备逻辑思维与探索精神的学子投身其中,并强调 “脑科学与人工智能、医学、艺术的交叉融合,将是未来突破的关键。”

专业选择与准备:针对杭校学生关于专业学习的疑问,他建议本科阶段打好宽厚基础,不必过早局限方向,并分享了自身跨领域学习的经历,鼓励学生 “广泛尝试,找到自己真正适合与喜欢的”。

 

座谈会在金校长的总结和热烈的掌声中结束。杭校学子对于 AI和脑科学的好奇与探究却永不止步。座谈会结束后,饶恒毅博士和王若思博士在学生的簇拥和相互探讨声中圆满画上句号。

 

在面向教师的专题讲座中,饶教授结合其团队研究成果,提出了一系列核心观点:

AI的成就与局限:AI已在多领域超越人类,但其发展仍面临数据质量、效率等困难。

脑科学是未来 AI的核心:理解人脑的工作机制将是推动下一代人工智能发展的基础。

基于脑科学的教育实践:

警惕错误奖励:不当的物质奖励方式可能会适得其反。

尊重发育规律:教学工具的成功在于有效契合大脑的学习机制。

保障充足睡眠:对记忆巩固和大脑健康至关重要。

 

今日的深度探讨,建立在我校长期开展脑科学系列活动的沃土之上。此前,一系列丰富多彩的科普活动已为脑智发育理念的普及播下了种子: 奇幻大脑之旅 ——科学节游园会(2024年12月13日):通过错觉实验、神经元模拟等互动体验,将复杂的脑科学知识转化为生动实践,激发了我校学生的科学好奇心。 科普讲座进校园( 2024年12月31日):启动校园科普系列讲座,聚焦儿童脑发育规律,帮助家长理解脑科学在学习和生活中的应用,推动家校协同育人。 校地合作签约( 2025年5月26日):上外与金山区教育局签署战略协议,启动“脑智金山·科学领航”项目,我校作为重要参与方,探索脑科学与个性化教育融合的创新路径。

 

从游园会的趣味启蒙到专家讲座的深度剖析,我校始终致力于将前沿研究成果转化为教育实践的动力。随着大中小一体化教育试点的深入,脑科学有望为个性化学习、心理健康与创新人才培养提供更多科学依据。

Empowering Minds, Shaping the Future: 'Brain Science' Series at Shanghai Jinshan Hangzhou Bay Bilingual School Illuminates a New Vision for Science Education

 

From a fascinating Science Fair to cutting-edge expert lectures, Shanghai Jinshan Hangzhou Bay Bilingual School is building a bridge connecting advanced scientific research and public understanding, unveiling the mysteries behind the link between "Artificial Intelligence" and "Brain Science" for our entire school community.

 

I. Expert Insights: Exploring the Frontiers of Brain Science

On October 17, 2025, our school's "Brain Science" series reached a new high. We were honored to welcome Professor Rao Hengyi, a renowned scholar from the Shanghai International Studies University Brain and Mind Cohort Project, to our campus. He engaged in face-to-face discussions with our students and delivered a special lecture for teachers titled "Brain Science and Education in the AI Era." This event not only ignited our students' passion for scientific research but also provided our teachers with fresh perspectives on the future of education.

 

Student Forum: Igniting Scientific Dreams

During the interactive session with students, Professor Rao delved into hot topics such as choosing brain science as a major, academic prospects, and ethical boundaries.

 

· Nature and Prospects of the Field: Professor Rao explained that brain science is a highly interdisciplinary field, encompassing neuroscience, psychology, computer science, and even materials science. He encouraged our students passionate about life sciences and possessing logical thinking and an exploratory spirit to consider this path. He emphasized that "the integration of brain science with artificial intelligence, medicine, and art will be key to future breakthroughs."

 

· Major Selection and Preparation: Addressing students' questions about academic preparation, he advised building a broad and solid foundation during undergraduate studies, avoiding specializing too early. Sharing his own cross-disciplinary learning experience, he encouraged students to "explore widely to find what truly suits and interests you."

 

· Discussion on Hot Topics:

o AI and imageology: Professor Rao noted that while AI far surpasses humans in processing efficiency for specific tasks, its development is limited by a lack of high-quality data.

o Sleep and Learning: He clearly stated that sleep is crucial for memory consolidation, suggesting that reciting before sleep might be more effective; however, chronic sleep deprivation can cause irreversible damage to the brain.

o Brain-Computer Interfaces: He introduced the technological pathways from non-invasive to invasive interfaces, pointing out that while they bring potential benefits to humanity, they also carry ethical risks.

 

The forum concluded with a summary from Principal Jin and warm applause. However, our students' curiosity and inquiry into AI and brain science are endless. After the session, Dr. Rao and Dr. Wang were surrounded by students, continuing the lively discussion, bringing a perfect close to the event.

 

Lecture for Teachers: Brain Science and Education in the AI Era

In the specialized lecture for teachers, Professor Rao, drawing on his team's research, presented a series of core viewpoints:

 

· AI's Achievements and Limitations: While AI has surpassed humans in many fields, its development still faces challenges like data quality and efficiency.

 

· Brain Science is Core to Future AI: Understanding the human brain's working mechanisms will be fundamental to driving the development of next-generation artificial intelligence.

 

· Brain Science-Based Educational Practices:

 

o Be Cautious with Improper Rewards: Inappropriate material rewards can be counterproductive.

o Respect Developmental Rhythms: The success of teaching tools lies in their effective alignment with the brain's learning mechanisms.

o Ensure Adequate Sleep: Essential for memory consolidation and brain health.

 

II. Event Recap: Nurturing Campus Initiatives, Sowing Seeds of Science

Today's in-depth discussions are built upon our school's long-term commitment to the "Brain Science" series. Previously, a variety of popular science activities had already sown the seeds for understanding brain and cognitive development:

 

· Fantastic Brain Journey – Science Fair (December 13, 2024): Through interactive experiences like illusion experiments and neuron simulations, complex brain science knowledge was transformed into lively practice, sparking scientific curiosity among our students.

 

· Popular Science Lectures on Campus (December 31, 2024): A series of campus popular science lectures were launched, focusing on children's brain development patterns. These helped parents understand the application of brain science in learning and daily life, promoting collaborative education between home and school.

 

· School-District Cooperation Agreement (May 26, 2025): SISU and the Jinshan District Education Bureau signed a strategic cooperation agreement, initiating the "Brain Power Jinshan · Science Navigation" project. Our school, as a key participant, is exploring innovative pathways for integrating brain science with personalized education.

 

III. Looking Ahead: Illuminating the Future of Education with Science

From the fun and enlightenment of the fair to the profound analysis of the expert lectures, our school remains dedicated to translating cutting-edge research findings into driving forces for educational practice. As the integration of education across primary, secondary, and university levels deepens, brain science is expected to provide more scientific basis for personalized learning, mental health, and cultivating innovative talent.

 

As Professor Rao Hengyi stated, "Understanding the brain is not only a journey to explore the essence of humanity but also a cornerstone for shaping the future of education."
