      进入八年级以来，同学们接触了一门新的学科 —— 物理，不满足于课堂和实验室的学习，同学们在 “ 光 ” 这一单元的学习中，准备了精彩的 “ 光学 ” 摄影展，让我们一起开启这场关于 “ 光 ” 的旅行吧。

 在优秀作品区，同学们的创造力得到了极大的展现，有城市高楼大厦的对称美；也有色彩与曲线相得益彰的灯光美；有奇幻神秘的墙上倒影；也有艺术展上的创意浓缩;有的作品把玻璃球巧妙排列组合出绚丽的色彩；有的作品定格自蜡烛燃烧的瞬间 ...... 最后这幅作品你一定想不到， William 观察到的居然是门把手！他留心到这经常被忽视的一角，拍摄到渺小却神奇的光的反射。

 艺术区的孩子们极具创意与灵感，他们有的摄到了阳光透过云层照耀到高楼大厦的开阔景象，有的偏爱夜晚的古镇倒映水中的画面，宁静而神秘，有的从一片不起眼的落叶中，捕捉到神似动物的奇形怪状......

 在知识区的其他作品也很优秀，展示了很多可以用基本的光学原理解释的物理现象。如光的折射、光的反射、光的色散等等，让我们欣赏一下吧！

 数学的美，在于它定义的深刻，逻辑的明晰，结果的完美。八年级的学生们正在学一元二次方程，一元二次方程在生活以及学习中都很实用，也是本学期重点学的知识。

 在这次理科活动中，同学们绘制了一元二次方程的知识总结小报。整理了一元二次方程的意义、解法、判别式、例题等知识点。下面让我们一起欣赏同学们所制作的精美小报吧！

 本次八年级理科活动中涌现出非常多有创意、有想法的同学们，以摄影或小报的方式展示已学的知识，既是对知识的进一步深化学习，也能在活动中锻炼自己的动手能力，相信每位同学都有不凡的收获！

Think about the world rationally and explore the mysteries of the unknown constantly. Science has its own unique charm.In order to further expand the knowledge learned in the classroom, the Grade 8 Science group prepared a variety of activities to fully demonstrate the creativity of the students.

Physics

When sdutents entered Grade 8, they were introduced to a whole new subject —— physics. Not satisfied with the studying in classrooms and laboratories, students prepared an exhibition of photos related to light when we are studying light in the class. Let us start this journey about light.

In the area of exemplary work, students’ creativity was expressed to an inexpressible height. There are pictures of the symmetrical beauty of urban high-rise buildings. There is the beauty of lighting where color and arcs complement each other. There are fantastical and mysterious reflections on the walls, There are also creative condensations that would be found in art exhibitions. Some works skillfully arranged glass balls to create brilliant color. Some works capture a moment while a candle burns. However, in this last work, you could not expect that William actually observed a doorknob! He paid attention to this often-overlooked corner, photographing the reflection of a small but magical light.

The works in the art district are very creative and inspired. There are pictures of the sun shining through the clouds to the open scene of skyscrapers. Some of the other prefer a picture of an ancient town reflecting in the water at night, quiet and mysterious. Some also captured the strange shape that looks conspicuously like a dragon from the shadow of an inconspicuous fallen leaf…

The projects in the knowledge district are also very excellent, many of them are about world famous physical phenomena. Some of these include: reflection of light, refraction of light, and light diffusion. Let us appreciate their excellent work!

There are much more brilliant projects in this exhibition. Due to space issues, they could not be shown to you here. However, everyone will be welcomed to come to the Grade 8 hallway to see the projects for yourselves.

Math

The beauty of math is all in in the depth of its definition, the clarity of its logic, and the perfection of its results. Students in 8 Grade are learning about quadratic equations, which is extremely useful in both study and life. It is also one of the most important knowledges that will be studied this semester.

In the science activity, students created posters that summarized all the knowledge about quadratic equations. They organized the definition, solutions, discriminants, and examples about quadratic equations. Next, let us see the beautiful work of the students together!

In this grade 8 science activity, a lot of creative and thoughtful students emerged. They have showed that they have understood the knowledge they have learned in the form of photography or posters. This is not only an opportunity that can further deepen the learning of knowledge, but also to exercise their hands-on ability in the activity, I believe that every student has extraordinary gains!
