2023年 9 月 1 日，初秋的阳光洒在上海金山杭州湾双语学校，伴随着欢声笑语，新学年的开学典礼如期举行。学校师生齐聚一堂，迎接着这个充满希望的学年。

随着夏日的逐渐退去，学校校园焕然一新，初秋的阳光依旧热烈非常。老同学们在两个月的暑假后再度汇聚，欢声笑语充满了整个校园，带着新的收获和成长，此刻的重逢充满了喜悦与期待。同时，学校也热烈欢迎新加入的同学们，他们带着好奇和憧憬，融入了这个温暖的大家庭。

本次开学典礼由小学段顾主任主持，并在同学们整齐响亮的国歌声中正式开启。当铿锵有力的国歌响彻这个礼堂，每个人心中无不燃起对祖国的热爱与崇敬。

随后，顾主任带着大家回顾了上半年我们国家在不同领域取得的重大成果，心中的自豪之情无以言表；同时也预告了本学期的精彩活动，包括新学期活力周、我是小明星、义卖会、温馨教室、秋游等等。小朋友们充满期待，迫不及待地期盼接下来的学期生活。

学生代表发言环节让大家看到了不同年级同学们的精彩假期。二年级三班的杜若同学分享了自己丰富的暑假经历，充实而有序地安排了学业和社会活动；三年级四班的濮裔承同学讲述了志愿者经历，分享了为梦想奔跑的故事；四年级五班的侯思雨同学则分享了社会实践经历，以及如何给社会贡献自己的力量，激励着全校师生。

金校长和袁校长随后发表了讲话，他们的言辞鼓舞人心。金校长提出了新要求，强调了礼貌、好奇心和勇于探索的重要性。她鼓励同学们要礼貌与人相处，保持对新知识的好奇心，不断扩展自己的知识领域，并鼓励他们要勇敢地走出舒适区，探索未知领域，追求更广阔的人生道路。两位校长的鼓励和要求激励着全体师生，让他们充满信心，迎接新学年的挑战。

As the summer gracefully transitioned into early autumn, Hangzhou-Bay Bilingual School (Shanghai Jinshan) underwent a vibrant transformation, basking in the warm embrace of the early fall sunshine. The familiar faces of returning students and the eager smiles of newcomers filled the campus with an air of anticipation and joy. The opening ceremony, hosted by Director Gu, was marked by the resounding rendition of the national anthem, a powerful reminder of our deep-rooted patriotism.

Director Gu, in her opening address, offered a glimpse into our country's remarkable achievements across various fields during the preceding months, filling our hearts with pride. She also provided a preview of the exciting activities planned for the semester ahead, including I Am the Star, Charity Fair, Excellent Classroom Competition, and Field Trip. The students brimmed with excitement, eagerly awaiting these adventures.

The student representative speeches added depth and inspiration to the ceremony. Du, Ruo from Grade 2, Class 3, shared her well-organized summer vacation experiences, a blend of academics and social activities. Pu, Yicheng from Grade 3, Class 4, shared her volunteer journey and her relentless pursuit of dreams. Hou, Siyu from Grade 4, Class 5, recounted her socially impactful experiences, igniting inspiration across the entire school community.

Principal Jin and Principal Yuan delivered motivating speeches. Principal Jin emphasized the values of courtesy, curiosity, and courage, urging students to treat others with respect, maintain an insatiable thirst for knowledge, and bravely explore uncharted fields. Principal Yuan brimmed with enthusiasm as he expressed his fresh expectations for the upcoming semester, encouraging students to cultivate self-confidence, embrace academic challenges, and believe in their ability to achieve greatness.

The awards ceremony, a highly anticipated moment, celebrated outstanding students and fueled expectations for continued excellence.
