时光荏苒，岁月如歌。 2024年，我们迎来了新中国成立75周年的辉煌时刻。75载风雨兼程，中国人民共同见证了一个国家的伟大转变与迅猛革新。如今，国家面貌焕然一新，人民生活水平显著提升，我们为此深感自豪。

在这个特殊的日子里，杭校学子作为祖国未来的接班人，不仅欢庆伟大祖国的华诞，更将这段光辉历程视为一次宝贵的学习契机。杭校初中部学生发起了 “我为祖国代言“的活动，深入探索华夏民族的特点与辉煌，感受那份属于每一个中国人的骄傲与荣耀。

回望过去，新中国从成立之初的筚路蓝缕，到如今的世界第二大经济体，每一步都凝聚着无数中华儿女的智慧与汗水。

杭校的学子深知肩负传承与创新的使命。在这个国庆假期，同学们走出校园，走向祖国的各个角落，欣赏山川美景、品味传统美食、回顾辉煌历史、体会科技革新，千岛湖的碧水蓝天、故宫的壮丽辉煌、崧泽遗址的厚重历史、秦山核电站的先进科技、陆羽阁茶文化之美 ……每一处都让我们更加深刻地感受到华夏民族的伟大与自豪。

有些学生还制作英文海报，为中国传统文化、科技、建筑代言。

抬头仰望蔚蓝的天空，许许多多中国文化印入脑海中 ……在这具有特殊意义的时刻，杭校学子们在享受美食，观赏美景的片刻欢愉间，也已悄然加强了对华夏民族的自豪感与归属感。学子们秉持着热爱祖国的心，时时刻刻践行着“中国核，世界流”的办学理念，以文化自信作为强韧内核来面对广阔的世界。这次活动实践，给同学们带来的不仅是宣传祖国的冰山一角，也让同学们对“中国”二字与五星红旗更加充满自信。

作为祖国的未来和含苞待放的花朵，杭校学子将铭记奋斗的初心，不忘历史使命，为实现中华民族的伟大复兴与中国梦而努力奋斗。

Time flies, and the years sing in melody. In 2024, we welcome the glorious moment of the 75th anniversary of the founding of PRC China. Over these 75 years hard work, the Chinese people have witnessed a remarkable transformation and rapid innovation of our nation. At this moment of joy and celebration, students from Hangzhou Bay Bilingual School took this opportunity to step out of their homes with their families to truly understand and feel the charm and glory of the Chinese nation.

On this special day, students from HBBSS, as the future successors of the motherland, not only celebrate the great anniversary of our country but also regard this glorious journey as a valuable opportunity for learning. Students from grades 5 to 9 initiated the activity "I Speak for My Country," delving into the characteristics and brilliance of the Chinese nation, feeling the pride and glory that belongs to every Chinese person.

Gentle breezes blow, and in this late autumn, what accompanies the students are the historical culture and magnificent landscapes of the beautiful motherland: gazing at the ancient terracotta warriors, strolling through the modern Xuhui Riverside, paying homage to Tiananmen Square, saluting the soldiers of the Sihang Warehouse, feeling the most advanced nuclear power technology,enjoying the tender soup dumplings...

What accompanies the students is not only the tour of these things, but also a deep feeling of the profound heritage behind each culturally valuable thing. They feel the rapid development of China today and also realize that the past China is also admirable for everyone… The love for the motherland and the core of cultural confidence has deeply taken root in the hearts of all students from Hangzhou Bay Bilingual School…

Looking up at the blue sky, many Chinese cultures are imprinted in the mind… At this special moment, the students from Hangzhou School have quietly strengthened their sense of pride and belonging to the Chinese nation while enjoying delicious food and beautiful scenery. With a deep love for their homeland, students consistently embody their school's educational value, drawing on cultural pride as a source of strength to engage with the broader world. This experience not only offered a glimpse into promoting their country but also bolstered their confidence in the name "China" and its iconic five-starred red flag.

As the future of our nation and flowers continue to bloom, HBBSS students will remember their original aspirations, never forget their historical mission, and strive to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the Chinese Dream.
