新年伊始，冬日晴空， 2024年向我们挥手告别，而2025年也随春潮滚滚而来。12月26日下午，上海金山杭州湾双语学校New Year Show新年文艺汇演在大礼堂隆重举行。各班同学携手并进，以音乐和舞蹈为桥梁，在这天点燃新年的烛光，筑造了斑斓的梦境，为新的一年，新的事物做好了准备。

此次 New Year Show共有17个节目，其涵盖广泛，包括歌唱，团舞，音乐剧等多种艺术形式。主持人们身穿礼裙和西装，用昂扬的语调宣布新年汇演正式开始。

汇演以来自 HBBSS中学合唱校队带来的经典歌曲《奉献》拉开帷幕。他们以纯净之声，唱响爱与奉献的旋律，使场下的听众们感受到了温暖的力量和无私奉献的伟大。

G6-1的《We're All in The Together》以欢快的舞步和有力的嗓音，向我们展现了团结的力量。只要团结，同学们终将达到自己的梦想。

G7-5的《The Nights》以独特的旋律带领杭校学子们进入一个充满幻想与探索的梦幻世界，体验到夜的魅力。

来自 G5的《What Makes You Beautiful》将场馆的气氛推上了小高潮。五年级的同学们充满活力的声音和热情如鼓点一般打开通往幸福和希望的大门，他们已准备好步入人生中另一崭新篇章。

曲风一转，室内乐演奏的同学们端庄优雅，一首《 Can You Feel The Love Tonight》借其婉转的旋律，带同学们穿越星空，感受夜晚的温柔和爱的浪漫。

G7-2所演出的《等你的回答》则向我们展示了杭校同学们真挚的友谊与青春的美好。希望杭校的各位同学们都能享受在杭校的时光，度过一个精彩的初中生活。

G6-5所带来的《Jar Of Love》向我们展示了爱的力量。伴随着歌舞，同学们纷纷感受到了爱的纯真与美好。

G9-2的Vivian, Elton, G9-3的Amy Fang和Hannah向同学们演奏了经典音乐剧《歌剧魅影》。钢琴，小提琴，大提琴的默契结合，组成了丰富而激昂的旋律。音乐戛然而止，几位同学脱下脸上的面具，继续演奏，将音乐剧和围场的气氛推至最高潮。

生活的广袤星空中，梦想宛如最璀璨的星辰。 G6-3的《Believer》以激昂振奋的旋律，告诉同学们他们对梦想的执着与不屑追寻。

来自 G6-4的《A Whole New World》向我们展示了一个如水晶般纯净，美好的世界，那里文化多元并存，世界和平，每个人都过着幸福的生活。聆听着空灵的歌曲，同学们深深沉醉。

音乐剧《 Frozen》自发行以来便风靡全球。来自G6-1 Flora, G7-2 Susu和G8-5 Katie便以动人的歌声，精彩的表演，再现了经典角色艾莎和安娜的冒险之旅。

每个人都是独特的，来自 G6-2的各位同学们通过经典电影《马戏之王》中的《This Is Me》提醒了同学们，无论如何，都要忠于自己。

G7-3的同学们用《Demons》反映了他们对于困境的态度。命运对勇士低语，“你无法抵御风暴”而勇士则默默回应：“我就是风暴”。面对困难时，杭校学子们都将展现自己的勇气和力量。

杭校的 New Year Show从不缺少对经典作品的重新演绎。来自G8的同学们便复刻了经典音乐剧《Alexander Hamilton》。她们用响亮的歌声和激情的表演，演绎出一位自强不息，勤奋刻苦的汉密尔顿。

金黄色的田野，微风习习，稻香飘过，带来了温馨的回忆。 G7-1带来的《稻香》以舞蹈，敲击杯子等形式，将观众带入一片轻松惬意的稻田之中。

压轴的节目是来自 G7-4的《Fight Song》。青春的绽放中，奋斗的召唤已经响起。G7-4同学们所弹奏的每一个音符都想战士的呼喊一样引起共鸣。在这强大而激动人心的旋律中，同学们看到了一幅关于毅力和坚定的壮丽画卷。

“情人总分分合合，可是我们却越爱越深”时光荏苒，虽然华语乐坛的黄金岁月悄然远去，但总有人记得他们，总有人将哪些在历史长河中熠熠生辉的作品再次演奏。来自九年级的Endy，Captain，Benny，Jeffrey和Ethan同学便在压轴节目上表演了王力宏的作品《我们的歌》，奏响了幸福之声。音乐，朋友总会陪伴在身边，经历沧桑，盼得云开雾散，雨过天晴。送礼环节更是将整次汇演拉上高潮。在一片欢声笑语中，此次New Year Show 拉上了帷幕。

在充满梦想与希望的舞台上，同学们用歌声和舞步编织了一幅幅动人的画面；用心灵和激情演绎了一幕幕名为 “青春”的故事；用真心与经历书写了名为“成长”的篇章。随着盛大的新年汇演落幕，崭新的2025学期即将开始。带着团结，自信，信念与温情，杭校学子在新的一年也会拥抱未来，勇往直前，更加出彩。预祝杭校学子在新的一年都能“如蛇添足，步步高升”，也愿各位同学的梦想如星辰大海般璀璨，希望如明媚阳光般温暖。

As the New Year begins, the winter sky is clear and serene. 2024 bids us farewell, while 2025 approaches, carried by the gentle waves of spring. On the afternoon of December 26, the 5th New Year’s Show of Shanghai Jinshan Hangzhou Bay Bilingual School was held in the grand auditorium. Together, all the students gathered, hand in hand, with music and dance as their bridges to a brighter future. On this day, they enchant the kindling of the New Year, weaving vibrant dreams and setting their sights on new beginnings and endless possibilities in the year ahead.

There are a total of 17 programs in this New Year Show, covering a wide range of art forms, including singing, group dance, musicals and so on. The hosts wore dresses and suits and announced the official start of the New Year's show in a lofty tone.

The performance opened with the timeless song "Dedication", performed by the HBBSS Middle School Chorus Varsity Team. With their pure voices, they sang melodies of love and selfless devotion, enveloping the audience in a warm embrace, reminding everyone of the power of compassion and the greatness of unyielding dedication.

G6-3's spirited rendition of "We're All in This Together" showcased the strength of unity. With lively dance moves and powerful vocals, the students demonstrated that as long as they stand together, no dream is too distant to achieve.

G7-5's performance of "The Nights" transported the audience into a world of dreams, filled with fantasy and boundless curiosity. The enchanting melody guided the students through a night of exploration, capturing the magic of the dark hours and the allure of the unknown.

The fifth graders of G5-5 then took the stage with "What Makes You Beautiful", bringing the atmosphere to a joyful crescendo. Their vibrant voices and infectious energy opened the door to happiness, filling the air with hope and optimism as they eagerly look forward to the next chapter of their journey.

With a shift in musical style, the chamber music ensemble took the stage, exuding dignity and grace. Their rendition of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" carried a soft, tender melody, leading the students through a starry sky, where the sweetness of the night and the romance of love filled the air, creating an unforgettable moment of warmth and serenity.

“Waiting for Your Answer”, performed by G7-2, beautifully captures the essence of sincere friendship and the radiant spirit of youth among the students of Hangzhou. It is a heartfelt wish that every student at HBBSS finds joy in their time here and experiences a truly memorable junior high school journey.

Next, G6-5 brought us "Jar of Love", a performance that powerfully conveys the boundless energy of love. Through a harmonious blend of singing and dancing, the students allowed the audience to feel the warmth and tenderness of love as it unfolded, one note at a time.

G9-2's Vivian and Elton, along with Amy Fang and Hannah from G9-3, captivated the audience as they performed a breathtaking excerpt from the classic Phantom of the Opera. The seamless interplay between the piano, violin, and cello wove a rich, evocative tapestry of sound. At the climax, the music suddenly paused—several students removed their masks and continued to play, intensifying the drama and propelling the atmosphere to a thrilling peak.

In the boundless expanse of life’s starry sky, dreams shine like the brightest constellations. G6-3’s rendition of “Believer” delivered a powerful message of perseverance and the unwavering pursuit of one’s dreams. With a passionate and uplifting melody, the students reminded everyone that through determination and belief, dreams can truly come alive.

“A Whole New World” by G6-4 takes us on a journey to a world as pure and radiant as crystal, where cultures blend harmoniously, peace reigns, and everyone thrives in joy. As the ethereal melody filled the air, the students and audience alike were swept away by the beauty and serenity of this imagined paradise, lost in the captivating sound of unity and hope.

The musical Frozen has captured hearts worldwide, and in this spectacular rendition by G6-1’s Flora, G7-2’s Susu, and G8-5’s Katie, the timeless adventure of Elsa and Anna came to life once again. With every powerful note and heartfelt performance, they transported us into the wintry realm of Arendelle, where courage, love, and sisterhood conquer all obstacles.

In a world where individuality shines, G6-2’s performance of “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman reminded us all to embrace who we are, no matter the challenges. Through their bold and uplifting voices, the students urged everyone to stay true to themselves, standing tall in the face of adversity and celebrating the beauty of self-acceptance.

G7-3’s rendition of Demons echoed the resilience of the human spirit, portraying their struggle against life’s storms. As the fate of a warrior is sealed with the words, “You can’t resist the storm,” the response came swiftly: “I am the storm.” In this powerful anthem, the students embodied strength, showing that when faced with difficulties, the spirit of HBBSS is one of unyielding courage and indomitable will.

The New Year Show at Hangzhou School is never complete without a fresh take on a beloved classic, and this year, the students of G8 offered a dynamic reimagining of Alexander Hamilton. With their bold voices and passionate performances, they brought the story of Hamilton’s relentless pursuit of greatness to life, painting a portrait of ambition, perseverance, and the power of self-determination.

“Rice Fragrance” from G7-1 immersed the audience in the tranquil beauty of rural life. Through joyful dance and the soft rhythm of cup taps, the students transported us to the golden fields, where the breeze carries the scent of ripening rice, evoking memories of warmth and nostalgia. It was a celebration of simplicity and peace, a reminder of the comfort and beauty of nature’s cycles.

The grand finale, “Fight Song” by G7-4, marked the triumphant conclusion of the evening. In the blossoming energy of youth, the anthem of determination rang out loud and clear. Each note resonated like a rallying cry, echoing the unrelenting spirit of those who refuse to give up. The performance painted a vivid picture of strength and perseverance, leaving the audience inspired by the unwavering resolve of HBBSS students.

Lovers may be torn apart, but the more deeply we love, the stronger our bond becomes." Time moves swiftly. Though the golden age of Chinese music has gently faded into the past, there will always be those who remember its brilliance, and those who breathe new life into the timeless works that have illuminated history. On the grand stage of the Big Axis Program, Endy, Captain, Benny, Jeffrey, and Ethan from Grade 9 brought Wang Lihong’s iconic song "Our Song" to life, filling the air with the sweet melody of happiness. In the company of friends, music remains an ever-present companion—through the trials of life, we hope for the clouds to part, for the fog to lift, and for the rain to cease. The performance reached its pinnacle as the final notes rang out, carrying the audience through a crescendo of emotion. Amidst laughter and joy, the New Year Show drew to a close.

On a stage brimming with dreams and aspirations, the students wove a tapestry of moving images with their songs and dances; they breathed life into the stories of youth with their passion and sincerity; and they penned a chapter of growth with their hearts, under the guidance of their mentors. With the curtain falling on the grand New Year’s performance, the dawn of the 2025 semester beckons. United in spirit, confident in their abilities, and filled with hope and warmth, the students of Hangzhou School stand ready to embrace the future. With courage and resilience, they will move forward into the new year, brighter and more brilliant than ever.

May all the students of HBBSS rise step by step, like snakes adding feet, soaring ever higher in the year to come. May their dreams shine as brightly as a sea of stars, and may their hopes be as warm and steady as the morning sun.
