具有高度影响力与鲜明特色的学生自主社团一直是杭校校园文化的重要组成部分。9月 14 日，自主社团的社长们正式启动了新学年的招募工作。 67 和 89 年级的社长们精心准备演讲稿，两场别开生面的宣讲会在杭校大礼堂火热进行。

本次社团招新的最大成团人数社团依然是2024年度优秀学生自主社团法语社活动，体现了学生们对社长高质量活动内容和组织能力的认可。

在宣讲会现场，8年级 “pen of creation club” 社团吸引了全场的注意。他们曾成功创办并运营了校级学生刊物，将文字转化为切实的行动力。据社长介绍，在这个社团中，同学们可以尽情发散自己的想象力和创造力，这不仅能极大提升英语水平，更能引领同学们参加更多的高质量社会活动。

为了便于社员的参与，今年专注于平面和立体设计9年级 “Design101” 社团做了很大的改进，社员们无需再带 ipad 或其他电子产品到学校，为同学们提供了极大的便利。

宣讲会上还涌现出许多特色社团，比如6年级的 “ 折纸社 ” ，据社长介绍，社团成立旨在让同学们通过折纸体验从平面到立体的神奇转化，培养对传统手工艺术的认知和喜爱。这样的社团让同学们的兴趣特长有了自己的园地。

这样的特色社团在杭校还有很多。学术科技方面有微境化学创研社等；文化艺术方面有花开古巷非遗社、Hamilton音乐剧社、漫画社等；创意实践方面有奶茶社、漱玉诗社等；体育竞技有赛艇社团等；公益实践方面有益暖金山社。在杭校，自主社团百家争鸣、百花齐放。

无论同学是热爱创造、钟情艺术，还是痴迷运动、热衷公益，这里总有一方天地属于杭校学子！加入社团，就是探索无限可能，就是书写多彩校园生活！

Student clubs, with high influences and distinctive characteristics have always been a vital part of HBBSS School's culture. On September 14th, the club leaders officially started the new school year's recruitment. The club leaders carefully prepared their speeches, and two unique presentation sessions were enthusiastically held in the auditorium of HBBSS.

The club that achieved the maximum number of new members during this recruitment drive was once again the French Club, which was recognized as an outstanding student-led club in 2024. This reflects the students' recognition of the club president's high-quality event planning and organizational skills.

At the event, the 8th-grade "Pen of Creation Club" particularly captivated the audience. This club had previously successfully established and operated the HBBSS school magazine, turning words into tangible actions. According to the president, in this club, students can freely unleash their imagination and creativity, which not only significantly improves their English academic levels but also guides them to participate in more high-quality social activities.

To facilitate members' participation, the 9th-grade "Design101" club, which specializes in graphic and 3D design, made substantial improvements this year. Members no longer need to bring iPads or other electronic devices to school, providing great convenience for students.

Other standout clubs included the 6th-grade "Origami Club," which aims to let students experience the magical transformation from 2D to 3D through paper folding, fostering an appreciation for traditional handcrafts. These clubs provide a platform for students to explore and showcase their interests and talents.

Hangzhou School boasts many other distinctive clubs. In academic and technological fields, there is Microchemistry Innovation Society. For culture and arts, clubs like "Blossoming Ancient Lane" (intangible heritage club), "Hamilton" musical theater club, and manga clubs are available. Creative practice clubs include the Milk Tea Club, "Shu Yu" Poetry Club. There are competitive sports clubs such as the Rowing Club, while those inclined towards public service can participate in the Yi Nuan Jinshan (Warmth in Jinshan) charity club. At Hangzhou School, autonomous clubs flourish in a vibrant and diverse manner.

Whether students are passionate about creation, devoted to arts, obsessed with sports, or dedicated to public service, there is always a place for them at Hangzhou School! Joining a club means exploring infinite possibilities and writing a colorful campus life!
