冬寒渐褪，春信初至。为凝聚学期新动力，筑牢成长新根基，2026年 3 月 1 日，上海金山杭州湾双语学校初中部隆重举行开学典礼。全校初中师生齐聚一堂，在杭校共同开启新学期的逐梦之旅。

开学典礼由学生处副主任金老师主持，在庄严的国歌声中正式拉开帷幕。雄壮的旋律响彻校园，全体师生肃立致敬，家国情怀在每一位杭校少年的心中悄然升腾。

随后，两位学生代表强诺山和刘赵思怡依次登台发言，他们结合寒假成长经历，分享了在阅读、实践与学科探究中的收获，更以昂扬的姿态发出倡议，号召全体同学以自律为帆、以勤奋为桨，在新学期勇攀学业高峰，践行 “ 中国核、世界流 ” 的办学理念。

作为学校国际化教育特色的生动体现，外教Julia老师以温暖的方式真挚地邀请所有杭校学子的归来并展望了充满可能的这一学期。她用坚定的态度激励着每位同学让我们在新的学期乘风破浪勇往直前。

金校长的寄语为整场典礼注入了温暖而坚定的力量。她围绕学生成长，分享了三点重要思考。首先，要做一个自驱发展、不可替代的人，从 “ 要我学 ” 转变为 “ 我要学 ” 。她以冬奥会滑雪冠军谷爱凌为例指出，正是源于热爱，才能在一次次探索与坚持中不断突破自我。其次，要明确目标，用一个个小目标推动大目标的实现。金校长借春晚机器人的案例阐明任何高度的达成都离不开循序渐进的积累。最后，要保持坚定，成长过程中难免遇到挫折，尤其是九年级学生，更要在压力面前不退缩，把困难当作成长的阶梯。最后她总结道：我们要以热爱为动力、以目标为方向、以坚定为支撑，努力成长为更好的自己。祝 2026 ，全体师生以梦为马，成就自我！

表彰环节是典礼的高光时刻。在热烈的掌声中，各类奖项颁奖与学生自主社团表彰依次进行。一张张奖状、一份份荣誉，既是对过去努力的肯定，更是对未来前行的激励，让拼搏进取的种子在校园里生根发芽。

As the winter chill gradually fades, the first signs of spring arrive. To consolidate new momentum for the semester and build a solid foundation for student growth, on March 1st, 2026, the Middle School Division of Shanghai Jinshan Hangzhou Bay Bilingual School (HBBSS) grandly held its Opening Ceremony for the Spring Semester. Bringing together all middle school teachers and students to embark on a new semester's journey of chasing dreams at HBBSS.

The Opening Ceremony, hosted by Mr. Jin, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office,  officially began with the solemn sound of the national anthem. The majestic melody resonated throughout the campus. All teachers and students stood in silent respect, as feelings of patriotism quietly arose in the hearts of every young HBBSS student.

Subsequently, two student representatives Jeffrey Qiang and Mido Liu took turns speaking on stage. They shared their gains from reading, practice, and subject exploration during the winter break. With an uplifting spirit, they issued a call to action, urging all students to set sail with self-discipline and paddle with diligence, bravely scaling the heights of academic achievement in the new semester and embodying the school's educational philosophy of "Chinese Core, Global Reach."

As a vivid representation of the school's international education characteristics, foreign teacher Julia welcomed back all HBBSS students in a warm and sincere manner and looked forward to a semester full of possibilities. With firm conviction, she encouraged every student to brave the wind and waves and forge ahead boldly in the new semester.

Principal Jin's address infused the entire ceremony with warmth and steadfast strength. Focusing on student growth, she shared three important insights. First, she urged students to become self-driven, irreplaceable individuals, transforming from "I am told to learn" to "I want to learn." Citing Winter Olympic skiing champion Gu Ailing as an example, she pointed out that it is passion that enables one to continuously break through personal limits through persistent exploration. Second, she emphasized the importance of setting clear goals, using small objectives to drive the achievement of larger ones. Drawing on the case of the Spring Festival Gala robots, Principal Jin illustrated that reaching any height is inseparable from gradual, step-by-step accumulation. Finally, she stressed the need to remain steadfast; setbacks are inevitable in the growth process, especially for ninth-grade students. They must not retreat in the face of pressure but should view difficulties as stepping stones for growth. In conclusion, she summarized: We must take passion as our driving force, goals as our direction, and perseverance as our support, striving diligently to become better versions of ourselves. Wishing all teachers and students in 2026 to pursue their dreams and achieve personal excellence!

The awards segment was a highlight of the ceremony. Amidst enthusiastic applause, the presentation of various awards and commendations for student-initiated clubs took place successively. Each certificate and honor represented not only affirmation of past efforts but also motivation for future endeavors, allowing the seeds of hard work and progress to take root and sprout on campus.

Following orderly dismissal instructions, the Shanghai Jinshan Hangzhou Bay Bilingual School Middle School Division  Opening Ceremony successfully concluded.

Spring marks a new beginning, full of promise. This Opening Ceremony was not just a mobilization for the new semester but also a vivid lesson in growth and education. We believe that under the guidance of the "Chinese Core, Global Reach" philosophy, all teachers and students of the HBBSS Middle School Division will, with full enthusiasm and a pragmatic style, forge ahead steadily on the journey of the new semester, collectively facing challenges and writing a brilliant new chapter in the school's development and student growth!
