为丰富课余生活，给大家展示自我、锻炼能力的平台，我校开展5~9年级学生自主社团，于上周进行招新。 38 个各具特色的社团相继开展宣讲，各有侧重，各展所长。

艺术类社团旨在陶冶审美，开展艺术创作与才艺展示。8年级的 Pen of Creation Club 致力于以文字为媒介，鼓励各类原创写作，与 9 年级的杂志社合作，经过排版和视觉设计出版刊物。 7 年级的喜剧社则聚焦剧本创作，把平凡有趣的内容改编成喜剧，引发共鸣。

技能学习类社团侧重学习实用实操本领，掌握实践技能。本次有Bay-Breeze Speakers，辩论社， English Debate Club ， Bp 英文辩论社 4 个聚焦思辨的社团，帮助大家锻炼逻辑梳理、口头表达的能力。除此之外，还有像手语社， Maker-Workshop 这些趣味性强，拓宽能力边界的社团。

体育类社团核心在于锻炼身体素质，培养拼搏精神、团队意识。如9年级的田径社， 8 年级的 Shooting Club ， 5 年级的破局柔术社都能帮同学们释放压力，缓解学习带来的疲劳。

兴趣类社团数量最多，以同学们的个人爱好为纽带，重在同好交流，休闲娱乐，结识志同道合的伙伴。7年级的 “ 益 ” 万富翁社团通过将售卖所得利润全部捐赠山区，让同学们在实践中锻炼沟通、销售、统筹规划的能力。法语社，广播社，智游社，摄影社等社团的同学们演讲的内核都是一样的：大家怀揣同样的热爱，一起钻研探索，并肩协作，收获成长与快乐。

不同的热爱汇聚于此，有人专注打磨本领，有人积极交流碰撞，每一位同学都能找到属于自己的舞台，生动诠释我校因材施教，全面发展的教育理念，实现从课内知识到课外拓展，从个体思考到团队协作的成长。

To enrich extracurricular life and provide a platform for students to showcase themselves and hone their abilities, our school launched student-led clubs for Grades 5 to 9 and held a recruitment drive last week. 38 distinctive clubs hosted presentations one after another, each highlighting its own focus and demonstrating its unique strengths.

Art clubs aim to cultivate aesthetic appreciation, encouraging artistic creation and talent showcases. The 8th-grade "Pen of Creation Club" is dedicated to using words as a medium to encourage various forms of original writing. Collaborating with the 9th-grade magazine, they publish works after layout and visual design. The 7th-grade Comedy Club focuses on script-writing, adapting ordinary yet amusing content into comedies to resonate with the audience.

Skill-learning clubs emphasize practical, hands-on abilities and mastering practical skills. This time, four clubs focusing on critical thinking — Bay-Breeze Speakers, Debate Club, English Debate Club, and BP English Debate Club — help students practice logical organization and oral expression. In addition, there are highly engaging clubs like the Sign Language Club and Maker-Workshop that broaden the boundaries of students' abilities.

Sports clubs focus on building physical fitness, fostering a fighting spirit, and cultivating team awareness. For instance, the 9th-grade Track and Field Club, the 8th-grade Shooting Club, and the 5th-grade "Breakthrough" Jiu-Jitsu Club help students release stress and alleviate academic fatigue.

Interest-based clubs are the most numerous, connecting students through personal hobbies, focusing on exchanging interests, leisure, and meeting like-minded peers. The 7th-grade "Benevolent Millionaires" Club (a pun on "billionaire") donates all profits from sales to mountainous areas, allowing students to practice communication, sales, and overall planning skills in real-world scenarios. The core message behind the presentations of clubs like the French Club, Broadcasting Club, Board Game Club, and Photography Club is the same: carrying the same passion, exploring together, collaborating side by side, and reaping growth and happiness.

Different passions converge here. Some focus on honing their skills, while others actively engage in exchanges and collisions of ideas. Every student can find their own stage. This vividly embodies our school's educational philosophy of tailoring education to individual aptitudes and promoting holistic development, achieving growth from classroom knowledge to extracurricular expansion, and from individual thinking to team collaboration.
